What Sahara Said

Sahara reminded me yesterday of a song she tormented Nikki with while we were in France, after learning Belgians eat horses. The adapted lyrics to the My Little Pony theme song -

My little pony,
My little pony,
The Belgians are coming to eat you

Nikki's Dad informed her on the trip that she had actually been fed horse without her knowledge too. Sahara has had very few qualms with eating animals since she found out what meat really was ("but not Georgia's and Katie's bunnies, OK Grandma?"). Unfortunately she's discovered I'm a bit squeamish at meal times if I think too much about it, and often leans over the table brandishing her fork and saying "Look Mum, sheep guts." with a rather wicked grin.
