First day back at school after the winter holidays. My alarm went off at 6.15 rather than 7.15 as I still hadn't changed the time for daylight savings. Now if it had been the holidays still Sahara would be awake and bouncing already anyway. However when I sat down on her bed and told her it was time to get up her little head promptly disappeared beneath the blanket. "Make me" was her muffled response. I told her I'd pull the blankets off, and a little hand appeared from beneath her duvet to grab onto her blanket. "You'll have to get scissors or a knife and cut it off". I'm hoping she's just getting all her bad teenager behavior out of her system now. I'm not even telling Di(who I know isn't reading anyway because you never read anything I tell you to -_-) who spent most school mornings telling me just how much she hoped I had children just like me. Luckily dressing negotiations went better and this wasn't what she ended up wearing out the door to school.

Yeah, I think I'd be the same at 7:15 as well :)
