On Friday, we went to the park with Nikki and Marco. Nikki meet her friend there who has a lot of younger brothers and sisters about Sahara's age, so she had a wonderful time, and Nikki was followed around by a gang of about 10 or so adoring young fans.

My feet. I get really bored at the park. And I have pretty feet.

V-grrl arrived from America bearing gifts. Sahara's face upon opening hers was a beautiful moment of just sheer delight. Veronica gave her the most beautiful ballet costume and necklace and clip-on(yay, I can hold out a little longer on Sahara's insistence on having holes put in herself just like Nikki!) earrings. Almost a week later and I'm still having difficulties coaxing her into any other outfit. It took a couple of days, but Sahara is finally calling her Veronica instead of Shanty(her other American).
Sahara and her lovely V-grrl.

Sahara attacking me and the camera. Sigh.Sahara made me a necklace out of small pink and blue painted pasta pieces for mothers day a couple of weeks ago. "How sweet" you may be thinking, but it is regulary confiscated if I annoy her, or if she decides she loves someone a little bit more. Veronica has been in possession of it a bit this week, and Sahara told me at the dinner table tonight she did actually love Veronica more than me. Fair enough I suppose. It is a lovely dress.

I've resisted the urge the urge to tell Sahara I love her mum more than her. : P Now I just have to find an adult size ballet costume for you, Jess since clearly life goes best when you're dressed like a princess ballerina.
